(Following the events of this thread)

[When Alice finally made it home, she would be coming back far worse for wear than how she left. Her dress was smudged with grass stains and dirt, her arms and legs the same. Her shoes were scuffed, her eyes were red and swollen from crying, blades of grass were still stuck in her hair.

And oh yes, she had a massive red and purple bruise forming on her cheek the size of an adult's hand (though, thankfully, not in said shape).

When she came in through the door, she was at a loss of what to do. She was perhaps still in shock and her mind was trying desperately to figure out the best way to react.

Numb, was currently being favored over anything else her mind could come up with since anything else would be panic, fear, pain, terror, or a mix of all four to make a rather awful combination.

So numb was a very good thing to be feeling, or not be feeling rather, at the moment.

While numb, her body was also a bit on autopilot. She knew that, as someone who fought and as a knight, Suzaku must have dealt with wounds and bruises all the time and would best know how to tend to this one. So when she sought out Suzaku, her hand holding her cheek, Alice didn't even consider what she must look like or how this might trouble her guardian.]
